The Tour Itinerary:

Day01: Arrival in Leh

A exciting early morning flight to Leh. The crispy air of Leh when you disembark from the airplane welcomes you to this unpolluted Himalayan destination. You will be welcome and escorted to our hotel where room has been booked for your ready occupancy. A little consultation on the day’s program and a breakfast, you are advised to rest for the first half of the day. After lunch we will go for an easy and relaxed orientation drive of Leh Local Bazar.

Day 2: Leh Local Excursions
After breakfast Excursion trip to Spituk & Hall of Fame. Back to hotel. Post lunch drive too Sanker Gompa & Shanti Stupa trip.
Post breakfast we depart for AM Sightseeing tour to Spituk
Spituk monastery which was founded by Old Led, in the 11th century AD. In those days the Gompa belong to the Kadampa School but Gelukpa order was introduce during the region of King Dragspa Bum idle, when Lama Lhawang Lotus restore the monastery & & Hall of Fame (war museum).
Back to hotel for Lunch.
Shanti Stupa, The Japanese for World Peace build the Shanti Stupa, at Changspa, on the hilltop, and was inaugurate by Dalai Lama in 1985. Their state of the art works attract a lot of tourists to Ladakh and is stunning to watch. Later on guided sightseeing tour visiting the Sanker Gompa, which is towards the north of the Town, it has an impressive). Later visit. From there one can see the good fabulous sight of Leh town. Day 3: Alchi (Uleytokpo) (Via Phyang, Likir & Basgo Palace)
After breakfast drive to Phyang -The monastery is extraordinarily built on the hilltop, like to the Likir monastery. This monastery belongs to the Degungpa order. And we drive further to Likir and visit Likir gompa located atop a windy rock face top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. It was founded in the 12th Century although the present creation dates back to the 18th century as the original one was shattered by fire. In its square is a yellow-coloured 3 storey high enormous statue of the Lord Buddha, which was construct by a resident priest. The top floor has an inspiring museum containing old tangkhas and arms used many centuries back.

Basgo Palace, The seat of power of a branch of the Namgyal family. It is here in 1680 A.D. that invading Mongol and Tibetan armies were held in check over a three year long seige. Original 16th century murals and other arts of Basgo are well worth a visit.

Then we will drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. Unlike other monasteries, which are usually on a cliff top or cling to a mountainside, Alchi is at ground level and is nestled in the shade of a garden.

Day 4: Alchi - Lamayuru – Pathar Sahib Gompa – Magnetic Hill –Leh
After early breakfast morning drive to Rizong & Moon landscapes Lamayuru, and back to Leh.

Lamayuru lower Ladakh it’s also called as sham. Lamayuru Gompa: The oldest holy site in Ladakh, it was a bon shrine prior to the advent of Buddhism. Also known as Yung Drung (Swastika) it is sited on a high promontory overlooking the village and valley. For sheer spectacle value no other Gompa can match Lamayuru.
After visit at Lamayuru Gompa the drive to, Magnetic Hill and Sangam of Zangskar and Indus River, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Drive back to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 5: Leh –Pangong-Leh

After early breakfast proceed for excursion trip to Pangong (155 kilometers each way). This stunning turquoise colored is worth its drive and time. It’s really worth full spending time. Half of this gorgeous lake is in under the Chinese occupation. The visit to the lake involve crossing of Changlha pass.
Back to Leh. Evening at leisure to stroll in the Local bazaar and overnight stay. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh

Day 6: Leh

Excursion to Hemis, Shey, Thiksey -Today we again proceed for rest of the Indus Valley monastery tour with Mahabodhi Meditation Centre.
We start with a visit to Shey the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue.
Then we visit Thiksey Gompa an inspiring complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a stunning 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of the future. Later on drive to visit the famous Hemis Gompa founded in 1630's by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh

Day 7: Depart Leh After breakfast depart for Leh Airport to catch flight to Delhi.
